Digital publishing is undoubtedly the future but how is it the future. In the past, as an unknown writer it took time to even get your books to multi-national publishers to take up your work and even if they did you were likely to get less of the royalties. These bullying prowess got many writers hands in the mouth of the publishers but today that gap has been bridged. Digital publishing has enable writers to write do all these correction and easily publish the work online without having to pay huge sum of monies. Just with the help of a smart phone or personal computer and a stable you can upload your book online without having to join the queue of questioning from traditional publishers.

The word “stop press” is a word editors, printer and distributors abhor. It is very expensive to control the damage stop press brings to a printer and his writer. Stop press is simply the calling off of a printing procedure which can easily affect the originally finished content. In the digital publishing world the stop press damage control is not as expensive as printing it. Even though files may get corrupted or files changing due to internet failure but does not bring a huge financial loss as compared to traditional publishing. If the internet falls down, you get a higher speed even if the file corrupt you just upload the original saved file without having to worry about having to change the whole procedure again.

Digital publishing offers a wide range of platforms to reach out to international readers. There are various platforms you can publish your book for readers to buy and give quicker reviews as compared to traditional publishing. Readers in their homes rarely send their reviews on books to the author via the post because it is deemed stressful but with the help of technology, one can easily get their review to the author through the platform they bought the book from.
